When Should You Delete Your Account?
Deleting your account is a permanent action. Here are some common reasons why users might choose to delete their accounts:
- You no longer use My Purse Pay and want to remove your personal data.
- You’re concerned about your privacy and want to ensure your information is no longer stored.
- You’re switching to a different financial management app and no longer need your My Purse Pay account.
- You’ve encountered issues with the app and prefer to discontinue using it.
If you’re unsure about deleting your account, you can temporarily deactivate it or contact our support team for assistance.
What Happens When You Delete Your Account?
When you delete your My Purse Pay account, the following will occur:
- All your personal data, including transaction history, budgets, and account information, will be permanently removed from our systems.
- You will no longer have access to your account or any data associated with it.
- Any scheduled payments or budgets will be canceled.
- You will not be able to recover your account or data after deletion.
Please ensure you have exported or saved any important information before proceeding with account deletion.
How to Delete Your Account
To delete your My Purse Pay account, please send an email to accounts@mypursepay.com.ng with the following information:
- Your full name
- Your registered email address
- A brief reason for deleting your account (optional)
Our team will process your request within 7 business days. Once your account is deleted, you will receive a confirmation email.
